Marseille, 13 September 2019 – The 36th European PV Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) closed its doors today in Marseille, France, after five days of Conference and four days of Exhibitions. The EU PVSEC 2019 was chaired by Florence Lambert, Director of CEA Liten, France. During the Conference the worldwide community of photovoltaics (PV) ranging from policy to research and technology, met to focus on the contribution of PV in solving the challenges posed by climate change.

Munich, 29 January 2019 – The coming EU PVSEC will be held from 09 to 13 September 2019 in Marseille, France, and will be chaired by Florence Lambert. Florence Lambert studied the aging in lead batteries used for photovoltaic systems and made her PhD thesis at Grenoble INP. She is Director of CEA Liten (the Laboratory for Innovation in new Energy Technologies and Nanomaterials) covering a large field of developments as solar photovoltaic, solar concentrator, energy storage, energy grids, digital technology for energy systems, located at CEA Grenoble and INES, France’s solar energy research institute.

The 36th EU PVSEC reinforces its attractiveness for the Solar PV industry players by dedicating a complete parallel track to business and networking. The Solar Industry Forum is a part of the "Research meet Industry" reinforced parallel track co-organized at the EU PVSEC.

Together with the conference, exhibition, and several key side-events, the 3rd edition of the Solar Industry Forum, complemented by the 2nd edition of the Solar Mobility Forum will be at the core of this parallel track. Munich, Germany, 19 September 2018 – The 35th edition of the European PV Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) will open its doors from Monday 24 to Friday 28 September 2018 at SQUARE – Brussels Meeting Centre, Belgium.

The EUPVSEC is a fixed appointment in the calendar of PV experts and has been for decades. It gathers the global PV community to conduct business, to network and to present and discuss the latest developments and innovations in Photovoltaics. It is the world renowned science-to-science, business-to-business and science-to-industry platform with a full and only focus on the global PV Solar sector. The five-day Conference is complemented by the four-day Exhibition, held from Monday, 24 noon to Thursday, 27 September, that gives the opportunity to meet different target groups: the global PV community, from science and PV industry will gather at the EU PVSEC. Technologies, innovations and new concepts in the upstream PV sector are the main characteristics. From total participants about 50% is represented by PV researchers and 40% by PV industry.

This year conference programme, with more than 1,000 presentations, cover the entire range of PV research, technologies and applications, focusing on the latest scientific, technological and market-related trends and provides an overview on the latest R&D in photovoltaic technology from the leading global researchers of institutes, universities and solar companies.  Now that Photovoltaic Solar Energy is becoming a major electricity source, the EU PVSEC extended its focus to applied and policy-oriented topics. München, Duitsland, 19 September 2018 – De 35e editie van het  ‘European PV Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) gaat door van maandag 24 tot vrijdag 28 september 2018 in de SQUARE – Brussels Meeting Centre, in België.

Deze EU PVSEC-conferentie en -beurs staat jaarlijks op de agenda van vele PV-experten omdat het de PV-gemeenschap van over de hele wereld samenbrengt en de ideale gelegenheid is om te netwerken, zaken te doen, en op de hoogte te blijven van de allernieuwste ontwikkelingen op het vlak van zonne-energie. Zowel de wetenschappelijke als de bedrijfswereld zijn er van de partij, met als enige focus de wereldwijde PV-sector. Naast de vijf dagen durende conferentie, is er ook een vier dagen durende beurs die doorgaat van maandagmiddag 24 tot donderdag 27 september.
