EU PVSEC 2021 goes online – again!

The 38th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition will once again be held online for the second time in a row from 6 - 10 September 2021. After hoping to hold the prestigious event in Lisbon as planned, we have now decided to follow the successful and well-proven concept of 2020 and run the event completely virtual again, allowing all international participants to be part of the EU PVSEC despite ongoing global travel restrictions.

We have learned a lot from the first ever virtual EU PVSEC in 2020 and we will use this knowledge to make this year’s online event even more sophisticated.
New modernised features will be introduced, allowing participants an easier and more intuitive handling of the platform and an experience similar to a physical event.

Here is a sneak peek of what you can look forward to:

An all-LIVE event

We place great value on our sessions being live. This means that presenters give their speech live while participants can interact with them in real time to ask questions and discuss the topic. Of course, in rare cases such as a significant time difference, we will again offer the possibility to record presentations in advance by video to facilitate the participation of all speakers in the conference. However, essentially all sessions will be live.

A new advanced networking tool

A great modernization will take place in the networking area. A new tool ensures easier handling with more features, encouraging more interaction among participants and between attendees and speakers.

A refreshed poster area

The poster area is reconstructed and provides refined opportunities for speakers to interact with participants and present their research in their live poster presentation. The audience can hop from one Visual to another and ask questions directly via chat or video function.

These and many more advancements are awaiting you at the EU PVSEC 2021 Online. We will spare no effort to provide an amazing onsite event feeling – right from your couch.

Stay tuned for more updates!
