EU PVSEC 2021 comes to a successful end

The 38th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference has come to an end, welcoming more than 1300 participants and covering an astonishing number of over 800 live presentations, consisting of Scientific Sessions, engaging Panel Discussions, in-depth Parallel Events and market related Industry Presentations.

We would like to thank the PV community for joining the EU PVSEC in its virtual edition for the second year in a row. Even though we would have preferred to meet in person, we were happy to see familiar as well as new faces on our screens.

Thank you to all speakers, chairpersons, attendees and operators for your hard work, your loyalty and your support! Together with you, we made the EU PVSEC 2021 online a great success.

Conference Programme

The Conference Programme for EU PVSEC 2021 online offers a carefully crafted programme of almost 900 top-level international presentations giving participants in-depth insights into the latest research in the PV solar energy sector.

Panel Discussions

For the first time, EU PVSEC offered four thematic panel discussions that addressed the 7 scientific conference topics and provided space to discuss them in more depth. The panellists consisted of experts from industry and research as well as renowned politicians. See the detailed Programme

The EU PVSEC is committed to highlight the importance of promoting the PV industry in Europe and focusing to foster manufacturing capacities within the EU. To achieve this goal and to provide a platform for the PV industry, we are introducing the first ever EU PVSEC Industry Summit.



Parallel Events

The EU PVSEC 2021 Parallel Events offer a deep insight into specific topics along the most recent PV technology, PV application and market trends and address to global decision makers from industry, research, finance and politics. The Parallel Events are open to all registered conference participants.



Prizes & Awards


UlrikeJahn webCongratulations to the 2021 Becquerel Prize winner, Ulrike Jahn!

Ulrike Jahn has worked her carrier long for the development of PV technology, with a focus on reliability and performance that new electricity generation technologies must demonstrate to be accepted in the market. Becquerel loop

Her activities have evolved from working for the 1000-Roof PV systems program in the 90s, to module reliability characterization and PV system performance assessment, up to the definition and establishment of methodologies for good practice to reduce technical risks during the implementation and working life of PV systems.
