Call for Papers: 4 days to go - submit your abstract by 9 March 2018


You are invited to hand in your abstracts by 9 March 2018. Contributions are welcome on all aspects of photovoltaics. The Conference is structured along 7 main topics.


Following submission, your abstract will be reviewed by the international EU PVSEC Scientific Committee. This distinguished group is made up of more than 200 leading experts from institutional and industrial research organisations, based in 28 countries.


Your Conference Programme is compiled by the photovoltaic professional world.

To encourage high-quality work amongst young researchers, on the occasion of the 35th EU PVSEC 2018 the EU PVSEC Student Awards will be delivered in recognition of the most remarkable and outstanding research work in the field of PV.


Awards for the best Visual Presentations


Considered as one of the main features of the Conference, the most outstanding visual presentations will be awarded. The award giving procedures are based on the novelty, excellence and significance of the contents reported, the quality of the presentation and the impact on the audience.

Becquerel Prize 2018 - Nomination Process


The European Becquerel Prize for Outstanding Merits in Photovoltaics was established by the European Commission in 1989 to mark the 150th anniversary of Alexandre-Edmond Becquerel’s discovery of the photovoltaic effect in 1839, which laid the foundation of both, photovoltaics and photography.

As Chairman of the Becquerel Prize Committee, Prof. Joachim Luther is pleased to announce the nomination campaign for the year 2018. The members of the Becquerel Prize Committee kindly invite you to take part in the nomination process for the year 2018.
