The five-day Conference (1-5 September 2008) comprises Plenary Lectures, Oral and Poster Presentations, Workshops, Fora and Contact Events on specific PV issues.
The 23rd EU PVSEC will take place at the Feria Valencia in Valencia, Spain.
Spains largest and at the same time most modern exhibition and congress complex with high qualitative, functional and technical standards welcomes you. The Feria Valencia is only 10 minutes away from Manises International Airport and close to the city centre and to hotels of all quality standards. The Feria is connected by metro, tram and urban bus to many different points of the city. The Feria Valencia offers modern infrastructure and a wide range of professional services that make your visit as comfortable and efficient as possible. The Conference and Exhibition halls are located next to each other to optimize interaction and networking.
Getting to Valencia is very easy - there are excellent flight connections from around the globe.
There will be a special counter on-site during the Conference for the delivery of manuscripts to be published in the Proceedings.

The EU PVSEC exhibition constitutes a unique and cost effective way for reaching a wide clientele. In the Exhibition you will find international manufacturers of PV modules and components, manufacturers of production equipment, PV system companies and distributors, PV installation companies, utilities as well as end users. The duration of the Exhibition is 4 days (1-4 September 2008).

The official language used throughout the Conference will be English.
All full paying participants will receive the Conference Proceedings free of charge after the Conference. Even if you do not attend, payment of the registration fee will guarantee you a copy of the Proceedings. Requests for extra copies should be sent to pv.conference@wip-munich.de.

All participants must check in on arrival at the Conference. The detailed opening hours of the Registration Desk will be published together with the Conference Programme.
The Social Programme is currently being prepared and as in the past all participants have the choice to participate e.g. in the Welcome Reception. More information on Social Programme will be available in due time.
There will be a reduced registration fee for students. Please note that the students' registration fee does neither cover the Conference Proceedings nor the Conference Dinner. To qualify for the reduced fee, students' applications must be accompanied by a copy of the valid student I.D. Card, as well as proof of age (max. 30 years at the time of the Conference).

Delegates must have registered and paid the required registration fees before requesting an EU PVSEC visa letter. Exhibiting companies who wish to obtain a visa letter to visit Spain should address to WIP, the event organiser, and forward a list with the names of their staff including all further details as outlined below. To request an official letter for your visa application be sure to provide us with the requested detailed and correct information before 1 July 2008.
