The EU PVSEC is the world’s major Conference in the field of photovoltaics and uniquely combines scientific, technological, industrial and application-related issues from the perspective of research and development, industry and politics. 6,482 authors and co-authors from 88 countries submitted abstracts in 2016. 180 international experts reviewed the suggested contributions. With more than 1,000 keynote, plenary, oral and visual presentations, and presentations in several workshops, expert panels and specific industry fora, the EU PVSEC counts as the most outstanding PV science-to-science and science-to-industry platform covering all PV topics from nanostructures to utility scale.

The EU PVSEC conference program is coordinated by the European Commission, DG Joint Research Centre.

EU PVSEC and Intersolar Europe team up for added value. With their decision to go for a joint location, EU PVSEC and Intersolar Europe will be strengthening the global PV solar position with a strategy & information platform by providing a showcase for state-of-the-art technologies and the latest developments of the whole value chain of photovoltaics.

Holding EU PVSEC Conference (20-24 June 2016) and Intersolar Europe (22-24 June 2016) at the same site, will provide EU PVSEC Conference participants an outstandingly wide range of products and information, while turning the stay in Munich into a most efficient and valuable appointment in the global solar power sector’s annual calendar.
